EL CAIRO, 2 jul (Reuters) - Los hutíes de Yemen dijeron el martes que ellos, junto con la resistencia islámica en Irak, llevaron a cabo una operación militar conjunta, atacando un objetivo vital en Haifa de Israel.
La operación militar se ha desarrollado con "varios misiles alados", afirmó el portavoz militar hutí, Yahya Saree, en una declaración televisada, sin identificar el objetivo atacado.
El grupo hutí ha estado lanzando ataques con drones y misiles en rutas marítimas desde noviembre, en acciones que según dice buscan mostrar solidaridad con los palestinos en Gaza.
Los hutíes, alineados con Irán, lanzaron por primera vez ataques con drones y misiles en rutas marítimas en noviembre. En decenas de ataques, hundieron dos barcos, capturaron otro y mataron al menos a tres marinos.
