Retiran cargos contra golfista Scheffler por su arresto durante torneo en EEUU
Un fiscal estadounidense retiró este miércoles los cargos por agresión contra Scottie Scheffler, número uno del golf mundial, derivados de su arresto este mes durante su participación en el Campeonato de la PGA en ese país.
El fiscal del condado de Jefferson (estado de Kentucky), Mike O'Connell, presentó una moción ante el tribunal "para desestimar todos los cargos en este caso contra el señor Scheffler", que fue aceptada por el juez. El golfista, doble ganador del Masters de Augusta, fue brevemente detenido el 17 de mayo por intentar eludir un control policial instalado después de un accidente de tráfico cuando se dirigía al campo de Louisville.
