Vida silvestre
La naturaleza, una vez más, como fuente de inspiración. En este caso, del arte, más precisamente de la pintura. Plantas, árboles y flores silvestres se ponen al servicio de la artista que intenta reproducir tal cual aquello que observa a su alrededor. Tal vez logre una copia fiel o una reproducción aproximada de lo que observa. No es lo que importa. Sí es relevante que la pintora participa del Festival de Flores Silvestres de Crested Butte, en Colorado. Desde 1986, durante una semana en el mes de julio se reúnen personas de todo el mundo para realizar caminatas, tours, pintar, bailar, comer y dialogar sobre el medio ambiente. Una celebración dedicada a la vida silvestre en todo su esplendor. Captarla en su esencia es el objetivo tanto de quien solo asiste para disfrutarla como el de quien la reproduce para inmortalizarla en una especie de puesta en abismo entre la naturaleza viva y la naturaleza muerta.
