NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Seattle wide receiver Jake Bobo will have tests after being carted off the field Friday from the Seahawks' joint practice with the Tennessee Titans with what coach Mike Macdonald called a serious right knee injury.
“Our heart goes out to Jake Bobo,” Macdonald said. “It seems like it’s going to be a serious knee. We’re going to get an image, but early returns, you know, just looks like it is a long-term injury. So, that’s unfortunate.”
Bobo was hurt along the sideline with players from both teams taking a knee before a cart came onto the field. Bobo sat up and needed help getting onto the cart before riding off with his right leg outstretched.
The wide receiver going into his fourth NFL season has played 45 games, including 11 last season as Seattle along with three playoff games as the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. Bobo, who earned a roster spot in 2023 as an undrafted rookie , has 34 receptions for 323 yards with three touchdowns in his career.
