Fred Durst, el cantante de Limp Bizkit, cambió de apariencia y está irreconocible
El artista realizó su primera publicación en Instagram, tras borrar todos sus post anteriores y su nuevo look shockeó a sus seguidores

Fred Durst, el cantante de Limp Bizkit, sorprendió a sus fans en las redes sociales tras publicar una foto con un look muy diferente a la gorra de béisbol y a la barba “chivita” a la que nos tiene acostumbrados. Al parecer, el artista estadounidense, de 50 años, se sumó a la tendencia que fue furor en la cuarentena estricta y adoptó un estilo más natural.
Sentado en la cama, con el cabello canoso, más largo y sin peinar, y con un increíble bigote al mejor estilo del luchador Hulk Hogan, el intérprete de “Break Stuff” escribió: “Pensando en vos 70″. Se trata de la única publicación que tiene en su cuenta oficial de Instagram.
Antes, Durst borró todas las demás publicaciones que había hecho en su cuenta oficial de Instagram. Como si hubiese querido hacer un borrón y cuenta nueva de su vida, que incluye un estilo totalmente diferente. A su vez, en la descripción de su perfil, así como en su biografía de Twitter, escribió: “¿Estás confundido? Clásico”, junto a la foto de un café.
Y haciendo referencia a su pregunta, muchos de sus fans, incluyendo algunos famosos, se mostraron un poco confundidos con esta peculiar actitud del cantante y lo convirtieron en tendencia en Twitter.
El escritor y editor de Media Matters, Parker Molloy indicó: “Fred mira a lo lejos con nostalgia”, y citó algunas estrofas de sus canciones más famosas.
Mientras que el experto en marketing, fintech y crypto brands Brad Michelson arriesgó: “Fred Durst girando hacia el excéntrico fundador del proyecto criptográfico”.
Por su parte, el humorista Sean O´Connor opinó sobre el nuevo estilo de Durst y consideró que el artista está “haciendo bromas a sus amigos como, ‘tu Bizkit también sería Limp, si estuvieras casado con mi esposa’”.
A su vez, hubo usuarios que reconocieron que jamás en su vida habían visto a Fred Durst sin gorra o que bromearon: “Esto realmente me duele en el alma”. Y no faltaron los que lo compararon con otros famosos, como Bon Jovi, David Spade, Chris Jericho y Julian Assange.
Algunos hasta dudaron que el de la foto fuera “el verdadero Durst” y otros consideraron: “Nunca me sentí viejo hasta que vi una foto de Fred Durst con el pelo gris”.
Realmente, todavía no se sabe qué es lo que quiere mostrar el vocalista de Limp Bizkit a sus fans sobre su nueva vida. Lo que sí se conoce es que, además de la banda, el artista trabajó en el cine como escritor y director de la película The Fanatic (2019), protagonizada por John Travolta.
La trama relata la vida de Moose, un fanático del cine de acción que vive obsesionado con su actor favorito, Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa). Gracias a un fotógrafo, Moose averigua la dirección de Hunter y lo que comienza como un ejercicio de admiración se torna una obsesión enfermiza y peligrosa.
